Wedding Accessories Appointments at Bijoux Bridal
You’ve said yes to the dress, and now you can start imagining the finishing touches. From the veil to the headpiece, choosing your wedding accessories is your chance to see your bridal look come together.
A wedding accessories appointment gives you time to explore the pieces that complement the dress you’ve already chosen. Our stylists can help you compare different looks and find the accessories that feel like you.
This guide covers what to expect at your appointment, when to book, and how choosing your accessories works at Bijoux.
What happens at a wedding accessories appointment
With your dress chosen, you can turn your attention to how you’d like to style it.
A wedding accessory appointment gives you time to try different veil lengths and headpiece styles, and see how they work with the neckline, detail and shape of your gown.
You might find that a longer veil brings the drama that you always imagined for your entrance, or that a delicate headpiece adds just the sparkle you were looking for.
Our stylists help you explore those options and consider how each piece will work with your planned hairstyle.
You don’t need to have every detail decided before you arrive. Just as with wedding dress shopping, trying different pieces is part of discovering how you want to look and feel on your wedding day.
Whether you found your dream gown at Bijoux or elsewhere, every bride is welcome.
Our seasonal Accessory Appointments run from 26 September to 21 November 2026, so come and find your finishing touches for your special day.
Choosing your wedding veil and headpiece at Bijoux
At Bijoux, accessories mean veils, headpieces and other hair accessories, carefully selected from our own range.
Our stylists bring pieces to you based on what suits your dress and what you’re drawn to, the same collaborative approach we use for gown fittings, and you’re welcome to browse the range yourself too.
Choosing your veil
Veil length changes the whole silhouette.
A cathedral veil trails dramatically behind a fuller skirt, a fingertip length works as a versatile middle ground, and anything shorter sits closer to sleek, structured lace gowns without competing with the detail already there.
We’ll ask how you want to make your entrance and what matters to you most on the day, then help you find the length that suits you best.

Choosing your bridal headpiece
A comb or hair vine can add delicate detail to an updo, while a tiara can give your bridal look more height and sparkle. A single pearl pin offers a subtle finishing touch.
Whether you’re drawn to something vintage or completely modern, bring photos of the pieces that catch your eye.
Our stylists can help you explore how those details could work with your dress and planned hairstyle.

Completing the rest of your bridal look
Our accessories appointment focuses on the veil and headpiece, but you can also use the visit to think through your wider look. Jewellery, shoes and any other finishing touches all come into the conversation.
Although we don’t stock jewellery or shoes, our expert stylists are more than happy to help you choose pieces that complement your dress and bring your complete bridal look together.
Pairing jewellery with your wedding dress
Some brides pair a high neckline with smaller, simpler jewellery, so it doesn’t compete with the detail already at the collar. Others choose a statement necklace to frame an open neckline or drop earrings to complement an updo.
A delicate single pendant suits some brides, a full set suits others, and both are right depending on what feels like you.
Bring inspiration for your wedding day
A photo of your favourite pieces, or a screenshot of wherever you’ve been saving your vision for the day, is worth bringing along.
Seeing what catches your eye helps our stylists understand the look you have in mind and suggest pieces to try with your dress.
It even helps guide our suggestions for veils and headpieces.
Booking your accessory appointment around your wedding dress
If you’ve chosen a Made to Order or Quick Delivery gown from Bijoux, you can usually choose your accessories at your Dress Reveal appointment.
Once your gown has arrived in store, this is your chance to try it on and explore veils and headpieces with our stylists, seeing how the finishing touches look with your own dress.
If you’d like to explore accessories before then, or you bought your dress elsewhere, our seasonal Accessory Season Appointments are open to every bride. This season runs from 26 September to 21 November 2026, with 30 minutes to try veils and headpieces.
You can book either appointment through our online scheduler, or call the boutique directly if you’d rather speak to someone.
What to bring to your wedding accessories appointment and how to prepare
Come with your hair roughly how you’re planning to wear it on the day.
Seeing your veil and headpiece with your planned hairstyle can help you imagine your walk down the aisle. If you’ve already had a hair trial, bring a few photos along too.
If you’ll be trying on your dress, bring the underwear you plan to wear with it, particularly if it’s backless or has a low back. Comfortable clothing that’s easy to change out of will help when it’s time to try your gown.
Guest numbers depend on your appointment.
A Dress Reveal keeps the usual four-guest welcome, while an Accessory Season Appointment allows two guests.
Wedding Accessories Appointment FAQs
Do I need to book a separate appointment for accessories?
Not if your dress is coming from Bijoux. Veils and headpieces are styled at your Dress Reveal appointment when the gown arrives, so it’s already built in. If you’d like dedicated time before then, or your dress is from elsewhere, our seasonal Accessory Season Appointment is worth booking.
How many guests can I bring?
It depends on the appointment. A Dress Reveal follows the usual four-guest Bijoux welcome, while the Accessory Season Appointment keeps it to two guests.
What should I bring with me to the accessories appointment?
It can help to come with your hair styled how you’re planning it, plus inspiration photos, and if your dress isn’t from Bijoux, photos of the gown itself front and back. Everything else is available to try in store.
How long does the appointment take?
The Accessory Season Appointment runs a fixed 30 minutes. A Dress Reveal is timed around collecting your dress, with time built in to style your accessories at the same visit.
Ready to complete your bridal look with Bijoux?
Every bride’s dress is the centrepiece, but the veil, the headpiece, and the small details chosen alongside it are what make the whole look feel finished.
Our stylists will help you find a veil and headpiece that complement it, with your ideas guiding what you try. We will also share tips on how to care for your accessories before and after your wedding day.
If you found your dress elsewhere, you’re welcome to join us for an Accessory Season Appointment too. Bring photos of your gown and any inspiration you’ve saved so we can get to know the look you have in mind.
