Tania Olsen Wedding Dresses
Tania Olsen is a Brisbane-based designer who has been creating bridal and formal wear for over twenty years, and the Australian design sensibility runs through everything in the range.
Her dresses tend toward warmth rather than coolness, soft palettes of vintage white and blush rather than stark ivory, and the construction reflects an emphasis on comfort and movement alongside structure.

We carry Tania Olsen wedding dresses at Bijoux Bridal in Hamilton, just outside Glasgow, alongside her sister brand Maya Bella.
What makes Tania Olsen different?
The design philosophy behind Tania Olsen is accessible luxury: wedding dresses with quality construction and flattering silhouettes that are beautifully made without requiring a couture-level commitment.
What gives the brand its character is the Brisbane influence. The collections draw from the natural landscape and architecture around the city, and you see it in the colour choices, the organic textures, and the way fabrics are layered.
The dresses use intricate lace appliques, embroidered tulle, mikado satin, 3D floral details, and organza, and the tailoring is built around comfort through a full day alongside the structure you need for the bodice and fit. The French-inspired collection names hint at the romantic sensibility: Darline, Amour, Floraison, Solis.
The collections
Tania Olsen’s bridal range covers four distinct collections. Darline, the 2026 collection, blends mid-century glamour with modern romance across 18 styles in vintage white and soft blush, with designs named alphabetically from Arietta to Aria.
Floraison takes a botanical direction, with 17 styles named after flowers and plants like Zinnia, Waratah, Marigold, and Cosmos, drawing on nature-inspired design elements and softer silhouettes. Solis draws on the natural beauty of water and light across 17 styles. Amour is the romantic core of the brand, with classic silhouettes, lace detailing, and designs like Pippa, Octavia, and Eva.
Standout design details across the collections include sweetheart necklines on fitted mermaid silhouettes, beaded A-lines with dramatic trains, off-shoulder ballgowns with lace bodices and organza skirts, and cleaner satin designs with low V-backs and plunging necklines. Several styles include pockets, and detachable elements let you adjust between ceremony and reception.
Silhouettes and fabrics
The range covers every major silhouette. A-line dresses balance a fitted bodice with a flowing skirt, ballgowns go further with full organza or tulle volume, and mermaid designs follow the body closely with the embellishment doing the work. Fit-and-flare shapes sit between A-line and mermaid, sheaths keep the line clean and close.
The fabric range reflects the brand’s warmth. Mikado satin gives a structured, polished finish with a soft lustre. Embroidered tulle creates a layered, textured look that catches light without heavy beading.
Lace applique is used across most collections, and the 3D floral details that appear on several Floraison and Darline styles add dimension without weight. Chiffon brings drape for lighter, more relaxed styles, and organza provides volume in the fuller skirts. The palette stays warm throughout, with vintage white and soft blush as the foundation across all four collections.
