What makes Allure Romance different?

Allure Bridals designs six bridal collections, each with its own personality. Allure Couture is the dramatic line, with hand-sewn beading, Swarovski crystals, and architectural bodices built to make a statement. Abella is the European-inspired collection with sculptural silhouettes and art-influenced textures.

Allure Romance takes a different direction. The lace is Chantilly rather than heavy applique, the tulle is soft rather than structured, and the embellishment is subtle rather than bold. If you’re looking for romantic wedding dresses with delicate rather than dramatic detail, this is the Allure collection to try first.

What holds it together is the patented Allure Construction, a built-in corset system introduced in 2003 that runs through every Romance dress just as it does through Couture and Abella. A flowing tulle A-line or a delicate lace sheath still has structured boning and support to hold its shape from ceremony to last dance, even though the dress feels light on the surface. Brides who try a Romance gown notice the fit straight away.

Fabrics, silhouettes, and detail

A-line is the strongest shape in the Romance range, and the combination of a fitted bodice flowing into a softer skirt suits the collection’s romantic character. Ballgowns pair structured crepe or satin bodices with full organza or tulle skirts, fit-and-flare designs follow the body before opening at the knee, and mermaid silhouettes use ruched satin and lace to create their shape.

Sheaths keep the line clean and close, with detail coming from the fabric rather than heavy applique.

Chantilly lace, with its fine open pattern and eyelash-edged trim, appears across the majority of Romance styles and creates a delicate texture quite different from the heavier Couture laces. Soft tulle builds volume without weight, sparkle tulle adds a subtle shimmer, and organza gives fuller skirts their body while keeping everything light. Crepe and Mikado are used for the cleaner, more modern styles, and give a polished surface with structure. Several gowns layer fabrics together: matte lace appliques over sparkle tulle, or ruched satin beneath a sheer lace overlay.

The Crum family built Allure Bridals from a Tennessee fabric store into a bridal manufacturer by 2000, and Kelly Crum and his son Ridge now lead a company with six collections across different bridal aesthetics.

Trying Allure Romance at Bijoux

Your 90-minute appointment at our bridal boutique includes expert style advice and a glass of fizz. If you arrive five or ten minutes early, you’re welcome to have a look through the rails before your appointment starts, and plenty of brides find something on the hangers that catches their eye before they’ve even sat down. From there, we’ll try different silhouettes and levels of detail to narrow down what works, pulling from Allure Romance and across our other designers as we go.

We hold sample gowns in UK sizes 10 to 32 and stock designer bridal gowns across UK sizes 6 to 36. Once your dress is ordered, our independent seamstress handles alterations after delivery. It’s worth allowing around 6 to 12 weeks for alterations on top of your delivery time.
