The Justin Alexander story

The brand started as T&G Bridal, founded by Ted and Shirley Warshaw in Brooklyn in 1946, initially making headpieces and veils for brides. They moved into wedding dresses in the early 1980s and rebranded as Justin Alexander in 1996, and today their grandson Justin Warshaw runs the company as both CEO and Creative Director.

That three-generation family continuity shows in the design approach, which leans on vintage influences from 1950s and 1960s fashion and Old Hollywood styling while pushing the construction and detailing forward with each collection. The brand describes its philosophy as “vintage inspiration paired with progressive details,” and with offices in New Jersey, the Netherlands, London, and Hong Kong, it has become a mainstay of the bridal industry.

Your stylist can pull from either or both during your appointment, and the construction quality is consistent across the two labels even though the design personality is quite different.
