Abella Wedding Dresses
Abella is the European-inspired collection within the Allure Bridals family, built around sculptural silhouettes, translucent bodices, and art-influenced detailing that gives the dresses a more editorial feel than most bridal ranges.
Launched in 2022, the collection draws from Continental bridal tradition and names its styles after artists and mythological figures, with each season shaped by a different creative theme. We carry Abella at Bijoux Bridal, our bridal boutique in Hamilton, just outside Glasgow, alongside the Allure Romance and Allure Couture collections, so we can pull from all three during your appointment.
What makes Abella different?
The Allure Bridals family includes six bridal collections, and Abella sits between the romantic femininity of Allure Romance and the dramatic glamour of Allure Couture.
Where Romance leans towards classic Chantilly lace and floral motifs, Abella takes a more structured, European approach with corset bodices, maximalist trains, and couture draping that gives each gown a stronger sense of occasion.
The design personality is European sophistication with modern bridal artistry, and the styling across the collection feels closer to fashion editorials than traditional bridal.
The design details are what you notice when you see the dresses in person. Translucent bodice panels with exposed boning used as a deliberate design feature, illusion necklines and backs that create depth without covering the skin entirely, and detachable sleeves and detachable trains that let you change the look between ceremony and reception.
If you’re drawn to detailed wedding dresses, the embellishment across Abella is layered and textural rather than applied for coverage, with beadwork, lace appliques, and floral detailing placed to follow the lines of the dress.
The L’Artiste 2026 collection
The 2026 collection, called L’Artiste, takes its inspiration from Impressionism and Romanticism.
Styles are named after artists including Monet, Valadon, Morisot, and Le Brun, and the designs feature brushstroke-inspired textures, romantic draping, and sculptural silhouettes that reflect the art movements behind them.
Ballgowns with voluminous tulle skirts sit alongside fitted mermaid shapes and clean A-line designs, and the colour palette moves through ivory, champagne, and softer tones.
The 2025 Goddess Reverie collection drew from Italian mythology, with styles named after Roman goddesses like Minerva, Vesta, and Flora. That range covers statuesque ballgowns, serene A-lines, and more sensual fitted shapes, with lace, beading, and floral appliques throughout. New designs from both collections are arriving at stockists throughout 2026, so ask about the latest arrivals when you book.
Silhouettes, fabrics, and detail
Abella covers every major silhouette. Fit-and-flare designs follow the body before opening at the knee, mermaid shapes stay close throughout for a more dramatic line, and sheath styles offer a clean, fitted silhouette without volume.
The ballgowns are where Abella’s European influence shows most clearly, with structured corset bodices and full tulle or organza skirts that create the kind of volume you see in Continental bridal design.
The fabric range includes mikado for a smooth, structured finish that photographs well, tulle for layering and volume, lace across several weights and patterns, crepe for a sleek fitted silhouette without bulk, satin for lustre, and organza for a lighter body than tulle.
Glitter tulle appears across some styles for subtle sparkle, and brocade and jacquard add woven texture to more structured designs. Basque waistlines, sweetheart and V-necklines, and off-the-shoulder options run through the collection, and several gowns feature detachable sleeves in tulle, lace, or pearl-adorned options.

Allure Bridals is a family-owned company started by the Crum family in Tennessee, led by CEO Kelly Crum. What began as a fabric store became a global bridal house in 2000, and the company now designs six collections that cover different bridal personalities.
