Bijoux Brides should have the best and most stress-free experience possible, so we have put together some of our most frequently asked questions to help you!
If there is anything we haven’t covered then please feel free to get in touch with us on messenger, by email, or by phone – and remember there is no such thing as a daft question!
DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
Yes! We want to be able to have the time and space to accommodate you and your guests, answering all your questions and helping you find your dream dress. We book up approx. 2-3 weeks in advance and you can book your appointment online for convenience.
HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
Booking your appointment with us is simple and stress-free!
Click through to our 'BOOK AN APPOINTMENT' page, Enter your name and email address and select 'FIND A TIME'.
Step 1. Choose your appointment type.
(Please note: If you select a Tues-Fri Appointment, you will only be shown availability for Tues-Fri slots. If you select a Saturday Appointment, you will only see availability for our Saturday slots. You can select 'back' if you wish to change the appointment type selected)
Step 2. Select the date and time that suits you best.
Step 3. Follow the steps to complete your booking!
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT MY APPOINTMENT?
Once you decide to book with Bijoux Bridal (thank you!) one of our Style Specialists will be in touch to confirm your appointment and find out more about you and your wedding. This will make your appointment run a lot smoother and give us more time to find your dream dress on the day.
Our appointments usually last around 1 hour 30 minutes which allows us to try on gowns, narrow them down to ‘the one’ and complete your full bridal look.
This then leaves plenty of time for you and your guests to celebrate.
All of our celebrations are completely optional, so if you're looking for a more relaxed experience, that's ok too!
HOW MANY GUESTS CAN I BRING?
At Bijoux, we understand that finding your dream wedding dress is a once-in-a-lifetime moment, made even more special by sharing it with your closest family and friends. That’s why we offer two appointment options to suit your needs:
Bride +4 Guests
For a more intimate experience, you’re welcome to bring up to four guests to your bridal appointment. This guest limit helps create a calm and focused atmosphere, ensuring your time with us is relaxed, memorable, and all about you.
Bride +8 Guests - Now available weekdays!
If you’d like to share the experience with a larger group, we’re delighted to offer appointments for up to eight guests. These appointments are traditionally available every Saturday at 3:30 PM. However, due to overwhelming demand, these slots often book out 3-4 months in advance.
To accommodate more brides and their loved ones, we’ve now extended our +8 guest option to weekday appointments, including our convenient 6 PM slots on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Weekday slots are an excellent choice for brides wanting a larger group experience without the wait.

WHO SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?
Finding your dream dress is a once in a lifetime moment! We want you to bring the people along, whose opinion you trust and need before committing to your dress.
We always say it’s kind of like when your partner proposed, you were excited, overwhelmed and emotional and it’s a very hard moment to recreate so make sure your most important people are with you for your celebration!

SHOULD I WEAR SPECIFIC UNDERWEAR WHEN TRYING ON WEDDING DRESSES?
It helps to wear a strapless bra in a nude or ivory, but we also won’t get offended if you want to take off your bra during your appointment to get a better idea of how your dress will look. If you would like to wear Spanx or shaping underwear, then please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. We can offer a selection of shoes for you to try on with your dress in a 3.5inch heel.
CAN I BRING CHILDREN?
Our space isn’t really ideal for toddlers or young children who love to run around and need your attention. It’s unrealistic to expect them to entertain themselves for two hours, especially when everyone’s focused on enjoying a special moment. We kindly ask that unless your child can sit quietly and stay entertained for the duration (usually 6years+), or they’re a small baby sleeping in a car seat or pram, please consider leaving them at home for a more relaxed experience for you and our other guests.
WHAT SAMPLE SIZES DO YOU HAVE IN STORE?
Our dresses are in sample sizes UK10-UK36 but can be ordered in the size of your choice once you choose your dress!
We are one of the largest stockists of mid-size and plus-size bridal gowns.
Normally when shopping for bridal gowns you will try on gowns 1-2 sizes bigger than you would normally buy on the high street.
HOW LONG DO I NEED TO ORDER MY WEDDING DRESS?
Most gowns can take up to 6 months to arrive in store.
You can contact us at any time to discuss your options with one of our team - we're always happy to help!
What is the price range of your dresses?
We know that every bride has different priorities when it comes to spending for their wedding, which is why we have dresses in store ranging from £1200-£4500.
We’re always respectful of your budget, so whatever you have allocated towards your wedding dress, we’ll be sure to find something you’ll love in store that aligns with this.

HOW DO I PAY?
We require a 60% deposit at the point of ordering your wedding dress with us, including any accessories and services. The remaining 40% balance is due when your dress is ready to ship to the store.
Any purchases made after this initial order are paid in full.
If you choose a gown that is ready to take home, this must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
