What does Made to Order mean for a wedding dress?
Made to order means the gown is produced specifically for your order. The dress hasn’t been made in advance, displayed on the rail, or worn by anyone else before it arrives. It’s brand new, made for your special day.
When should I book my first appointment for the Made to Order collection?
We recommend booking your appointment at least seven months before your wedding day, and as early as possible after that. The gown takes approximately 24 weeks to arrive from the point of order, and alterations also need to be factored in after the dress reveal. Starting the process early gives you the most comfortable window at every step of the bridal journey.
Is Made to Order available across all sizes?
Yes. Made to Order gowns are ordered to size and are available across every size stocked at Bijoux, from UK 6 to 36. Our stylists are experienced at helping brides find styles that work beautifully for them across every size and silhouette in the collection.
What personalisation options are available in the collection?
Depending on the designer and the style, personalisation options can include colour changes, neckline adjustments, and in some cases, fabric adaptations. Not every designer or style offers every option, and what’s possible varies considerably. Our stylists will always confirm for you what is possible before the order is placed.

Yes, an appointment must still be booked for a purchase from our Made to Order collection so that you can get focused time, expert style advice, and the celebration of trying on your dress in our store. We have both free weekday slots and chargeable weekend slots available for you to choose from.
