You are welcomed at the door and shown to a seat with a glass of prosecco, and your guests are made just as comfortable as you are.

Bijoux always goes at your pace and never rushes you into any decision.

Finding your style together

We begin with a conversation about your wedding, from the venue and the time of year to the dresses you have saved online, and our stylists use your answers to choose the first gowns.

If you have any dresses saved, here’s your time to show them!

You can also wander the rails and pick out anything that catches your eye.

Our stylists will bring your choices to the fitting area and offer guidance as you discover which shapes you love.

Trying on and finding the perfect fit

Fitting areas sit side by side, so you can share in the excitement as other brides step out in their gowns.

We help with buttons and lacing, then adjust sample gowns with clipping and pinning so you can see the shape on you. Their attention to detail helps you picture the perfect fit once your own dress has been altered.

Trying different styles back to back is half the fun, be prepared for a few surprises to be thrown into the mix!

Sizes 6 to 36 and plus size styles in a luxury boutique

Every bride is welcome at Bijoux, whatever her size or style, and the sample rails stretch from UK size 6 up to 36.

Essense of Australia’s EveryBody/EveryBride range covers sizes 18 to 36, so plus size brides can try gowns designed for curvier figures.

Customer service matters as much as the dresses, so questions about sizing, ordering or timings are answered openly and honestly.

Every bride has ninety minutes to explore her favourites and enjoy the prosecco, with our team there to help throughout.

With hundreds of wedding dresses available, the large range of dresses includes a lace ballgown, sleek crepe sheaths, soft A-lines, mermaids and fit and flare shapes, in shades from ivory to soft blush.

You can try a full princess-style skirt alongside a delicate, pared-back column to see which feels right for your wedding.

The designers on our rails include Stella York, Morilee, Justin Alexander, Maggie Sottero, Allure Romance and Essense of Australia, and we are a Premier Stockist of Veni Infantino. Bijoux carries a selection from each, so exquisite beading, clean satin elegance and the newest collections sit side by side.

After you say yes to the dress: ordering, alterations and accessories

We have a dress for every timeline.

Once you have chosen, your dream gown is ordered for you and takes about twenty-four weeks to arrive. Starting seven or more months before the wedding keeps the dress journey calm, as you’ll have to factor in alterations.

Quick Delivery gowns arrive after roughly three months, while ready-to-wear dresses can go home with you the same day!

When your dress arrives, our independent seamstress can carry out the alteration work, from the hem to fit adjustments and the bustle.

Each bridal accessory is worth trying beside your gown, and we keep veils and headpieces on hand so you can hold them against the dress during your fitting.

3. Arrive with your guests, settle in with prosecco and chat through your ideas with our stylists.
4. Try on as many gowns as you wish, with new options brought over as your reactions steer the choice.
5. Decide when you are ready, whether that is the same day or after a second visit.

How much do wedding dresses cost?

Our ready-to-wear dresses are priced from £499 to £999, and ordered gowns vary by designer. Tell our stylists your budget at the start of your appointment and they will help you find your dream dress within it.

Which accessories can I try with my dress?

Veils in a range of lengths and a selection of headpieces are available to try against your gown. Seeing them together shows how a neckline and a veil frame each other, so it is worth asking to try a few once you have found a dress you love.

Can a wedding dress be taken in or let out?

How much a gown can be adjusted depends on how it is designed, and our independent seamstress will talk you through the options at your first fitting. Hemming, fit adjustments and the bustle are part of the standard alteration work.

Should I bring friends and family or come on my own?

Either works well. You can bring up to four guests, with more arranged on request, while others come with one person or alone and invite family to a second visit once they have narrowed the shortlist down.
