Your appointment lasts ninety minutes, beginning with a chance to relax and chat before we help you into the first gown.

Tell us when and where you are getting married and what you have been pinning or screenshotting lately, and our stylists will suggest a first selection that matches.
You can also head straight for the rails and pull whatever draws you in. We take your picks through to be tried on and offer guidance on the shapes and necklines you keep reaching for.
Arriving with no idea is perfectly fine too.
Your first dress gives us something to talk about: perhaps you love the skirt but would prefer a different neckline. Tell us what you think openly and honestly, and we’ll use that to choose what to bring you next.

Trying on in a shared fitting area
The fitting areas are close together at Bijoux, and we did this for a reason!
It means every bride who steps out in a gown gets gasps and applause from the others. You leave the afternoon feeling part of the Bijoux community, and sharing the excitement of different wedding journeys.
Our stylists carefully fasten the buttons and lacing, then clip and pin each sample around you, which gives a clear picture of the shape your own gown will take. Their eye for detail makes it easy to picture the day itself.

If you’re choosing between two of our beautiful gowns, we’ll help you try them again in-store.
Have a little walk and sit down in each one.
Our stylists can help you check how the fabric moves, whether the bodice feels comfortable and how easily you can lift your arms.
Take a closer look at what you love about each dress as well. It could be the exquisite beading on an Allure Couture gown or a lace colour that looks lovely against your skin.

Our sample sizes span UK 6 to 36, including gowns designed for curvier figures in Essense of Australia’s EveryBody/EveryBride collection, sizes 18 to 36.
We can talk you through the options so you can look forward to having fun trying them.
Let us know the budget you’re happy with as well. It helps our stylists suggest dresses you can seriously consider, and you can tell us whenever you’d like to look at a different price range.

Made to Order gowns arrive in around twenty-four weeks, while Quick Delivery gives you a brand-new designer gown in approximately twelve weeks.
If you’d love to take your dress home that day, our Ready to Wear collection is priced from £499 to £999.
We’ll talk through the time needed for alterations too, so you know what to plan for when you find a dress you love.

Seeing yourself in the finished look
Once you’ve chosen your bridal gown has arrived, Made to Order and Quick Delivery brides are invited back for a dedicated reveal appointment, where you’ll wear your dress for the very first time.
This is your chance to try it on with accessories and complete the look.
An accessory can look quite different against the gown, itself, so take a moment to see how a veil falls over the back or how a headpiece looks with the neckline.
It’s a lovely moment to picture yourself ready to walk down the aisle.
Make room for a visit from Coatbridge
Getting everyone together can take a little planning.
If work makes a daytime visit difficult, you can book an evening appointment on Tuesdays or Thursdays, when we’re open until 20:00. Wednesday and Friday close at 17:00, and Saturday appointments run from 09:30 to 17:30.
We’re closed on Sundays and Mondays to give our wonderful team time to relax after all their efforts!

- Work through as many gowns as the ninety minutes allow, with fresh options arriving as we learn what makes you smile.

You have not left it too late. Quick Delivery gowns are brand new and take about twelve weeks, and ready-to-wear dresses need no wait at all, so book an appointment and our stylists will point you towards the quickest route to your dream dress.
How many dresses can I try on?
You can try as many as fit into your ninety minutes. Our stylists keep bringing new gowns to the fitting area for as long as you are enjoying it, and a favourite silhouette usually emerges well before the time is up.
