What to expect at Bijoux Bridal’s Stella York trunk show

For two days only, a special selection of Stella York gowns is coming to Bijoux Bridal, including designs we don’t normally have in store.

It’s a chance to try on visiting gowns alongside our own Stella York collection, with even more dresses to fall in love with at our Hamilton boutique.

Many of these gowns are joining us exclusively for the event.

Once the trunk show ends, they’ll leave the boutique, so Thursday 12th and Friday 13th November are your opportunity to see them up close and try your favourites.

Expect lace appliqué trailing down skirts, plunging necklines and statement sleeves, with the red-carpet influence Stella York is known for.

Our stylists will help you explore the visiting collection and see how those details look on you.

Appointments are limited across the two days.

Bring up to four of your favourite people, enjoy a glass of prosecco and perhaps find the dress you’ll walk down the aisle in.

There’s no obligation to buy, and we’ll be just as excited to help you explore.

Real Bijoux brides in Stella York bridal gowns

The Stella York trunk show is only weeks away, and our team at Bijoux couldn’t be more excited!

To celebrate, we thought we would take a moment to look back at some of the beautiful Bijoux brides who chose Stella York for their wedding day!

Kirsten and Thomas at Crossbasket Castle

Our gorgeous bride Kirsten married Thomas at Crossbasket Castle in a classic, timeless Stella York gown with a low-cut V neckline.

She wore a beautiful tiara with her veil to complete the look, and Willow and Wilde captured every lovely moment of her and Thomas on their wedding day.

Bijoux was the first bridal boutique Kirsten visited, and she fell for two gowns at her very first appointment!

Our stylists made sure she had all the time to enjoy trying them on and decide which she wanted to say yes to.

She described her visit as “calm relaxed and the best atmosphere ever. The girls are all amazing!”

It means so much to hear that she enjoyed coming back for each step afterwards, too.

“All the process was amazing from getting the dress, to reveals to fittings and finally picking it up,” she told us. “Couldn’t recommend more!”

Nicola and Craig on Lake Como

Our beautiful bride Nicola said “I do” to Craig beside the waters of Lake Como, wearing a Stella York gown that looked so at home at their romantic Italian wedding.

Soft tulle and embroidered florals gave her dress a delicate, dreamy look, with beautiful sleeves adding a touch of whimsy. We loved seeing her bridal style against that stunning waterfront, captured by Federica Ceriani Photography.

Nicola was another bride who found her dress at her very first bridal appointment with us, which makes seeing her wearing it on her wedding day all the sweeter!

Her advice to brides beginning their own search? “Go in with an open mind and try on various styles.”

“Just relax, enjoy the process, and trust the stylists, they truly know what they’re doing!” she says.

Mel and Steven at Boclair House

Our stunning bride Mel married at Boclair House in a strapless Stella York gown with a sheer back.

She looked absolutely incredible, and knowing how nervous she’d felt before her appointment makes her story especially lovely to share.

Mel had worried that having a larger bust would make it hard to find a dress she truly felt confident in.

Before her visit, she had a call with our team which helped her feel more comfortable about what to expect, and Bijoux became the only boutique she needed to visit.

“Then I put on my dress and that was it. I cried all the happy tears,” she told us. The strapless neckline and sheer back were details she’d never imagined choosing, but she loved how she felt wearing them.

Afterwards, she was “absolutely on cloud nine” and couldn’t wait to put her dress on again for her special day

Mel also described how carefully our stylists listened, helping her explain what she liked and giving her room to decide without feeling “pushed or pressured”. Hearing that she could relax and enjoy finding her dress means so much to us.

That’s exactly the kind of experience we want every bride to feel at Bijoux, so we were so happy Mel chose our boutique to find her dream dress.

The wonderful Francesca, known as Fran, married Dave at Wennington Hall in a Stella York gown, photographed by Kerry Woods Photography.

We love what Fran discovered when she looked back through her camera roll… the dress that she chose was the very first dress she had saved in her inspiration folder!

Stella York gowns in every size

We carry wedding dresses in UK sizes 6 to 36, so every bride can try a Stella York wedding gown and picture the finished look.

Plus size brides will find the EveryBody EveryBride collection, which Stella York designed for a curvier figure, in sizes 18 to 36.

Our stylists use clipping and pinning to show how each style will sit on you, so you can judge the lace, the neckline and the skirt in the mirror.

The trunk show runs by appointment only. As appointments are limited across the two days, so we’d suggest booking early!
