Your skilled bridal stylist kicks things off by talking through the big day: where’s the venue, what’s the season, any gowns that have captured your interest online, plus the styles you’ve already dismissed. Then comes the fun bit! They’ll handpick gowns from across the boutique that fit your brief, and they’ll usually throw in a few wildcards you’d never have picked yourself but that they believe will look gorgeous on you.
Within a dedicated fitting area, you and your party, typically up to three with further capacity available upon request, are invited to sample each piece, whilst our stylists remain on hand to help with buttons and lacing, offering expert guidance on how assorted fabrics and silhouettes complement your figure.
There is no pressure against the clock and no expectation to commit on the day itself. Certain brides discover their perfect wedding gown during the very first appointment, while others choose to return for a second visit to narrow down their choices.

Their expertise includes every detail from hemming and bustle work through to more extensive alterations, including the addition of sleeves, reshaping a neckline, reshaping a bodice, or adding lace detailing to tailor a selected design.

Do I need to book an appointment?
Definitely. Each bride enjoys a private 90-minute consultation with her own dedicated stylist, and we carefully limit how many appointments happen concurrently so the boutique remains calm and unhurried. To book your slot, book online or call us on 01698 200 122.
What sizes do you stock?
Our showroom gowns are available in UK sizes 6 to 36 across the full designer collection. During your consultation, you will sample dresses in your true size, and once you have picked your favourite, it will be made to order.
Can I bring guests to my bridal appointment?
Feel free to bring up to four guests, and if you’d like more, reach out and we’ll try to make it work. Most brides bring their mum, a sister, or a few close friends, but the decision is yours. Some brides attend on their own initially, then bring others to a second appointment once they’ve shortlisted.
How far in advance should I start wedding dress shopping?
Reserve your initial appointment 12 to 18 months before your wedding day. The majority of designer wedding gowns take four to six months to be delivered after ordering. Have a more limited timeline? Contact us anyway.
