At Bijoux, the wedding dress journey is set across a dedicated 90-minute appointment that belongs entirely to you from beginning to end. Your seasoned bridal stylist starts the conversation by discussing the story of your big day, asking about the venue, the season, any gowns that have sparked your interest online, and the styles you’ve already ruled out. Drawing on every detail you’ve provided, she then weaves her way through the boutique, selecting gowns that echo your vision, and slipping in a few unexpected choices she suspects will surprise you beautifully.
You and your loved ones, with capacity for up to three people and more available by request, can sample every dress within a dedicated fitting area, where our stylists are on hand to support you with buttons and lacing, while also sharing how the various fabrics and silhouettes complement your figure.
At Stranraer, we never watch the clock, nor do we expect any decisions to be reached during your visit. Some brides find their perfect gown during that very first consultation, whilst others opt to return for a follow-up appointment to narrow down their choices.

What sizes do you stock?
Within our complete designer collection, we stock sample gowns spanning UK sizes 6 through 36. During your appointment, you’ll step into dresses in your true size, and once you’ve found the one, your preferred gown is crafted made to order.
Can I bring guests to my bridal appointment?
You are invited to bring a maximum of four guests, and should you like to bring more, simply get in touch and we will do our very best to make arrangements. The majority of brides prefer to bring their mum, a sister, or a few close friends, but the decision is entirely yours. Some brides prefer to attend the first visit alone, then bring others along to a second appointment once they have whittled down their selections.
How far in advance should I start wedding dress shopping?

As most designer wedding gowns take four to six months to arrive once ordered, we suggest booking that all-important first appointment around 12 to 18 months before you say “I do”.
