Your experienced bridal stylist opens by quizzing you on the wedding details: the venue, the season, any gowns that have grabbed your attention online, and anything you’ve already ruled out. Guided by that brief, they select gowns from across the store to fit your description, and they’ll usually add a few you’d never have chosen yourself but that they reckon will suit you.
Try everything on in our changing room with your party, up to three visitors with capacity for more upon request. Our stylists are ready to help with buttons, lacing, and describing how different fabrics and silhouettes suit your figure.
At our boutique, time pauses and there is absolutely no pressure to commit on the day itself. Some brides uncover the gown of their dreams during that initial appointment, whilst others come back for a follow-up appointment to narrow down their choices.

Because she works so closely with the boutique, she already understands the dress intimately, knows the designer’s construction inside out, and appreciates exactly how the gown is meant to sit.
They manage the lot, from hem work and bustle work to more involved jobs like attaching sleeves, reworking a neckline, reshaping a bodice, or including lace detailing to individualise the design.
Scheduling your alterations at the same shop where the gown was bought means fewer appointments and much less travel between locations, whilst your stylist remains directly engaged throughout the process to make sure the finished dress reflects precisely what the two of you envisioned together. What sizes do you stock?
Within our entire designer collection, we carry sample gowns spanning UK sizes 6 through 36. During your appointment, you’ll slip into dresses in your true size, and once you’ve chosen the one, your preferred gown is crafted made to order.
Can I bring guests to my bridal appointment?
You are welcome to bring up to four guests, and should you wish to include additional companions, please do contact us and we shall try to accommodate your request. Most brides choose to bring their mother, a sister, or a few close friends, though the decision remains completely up to you. Some brides prefer to attend the initial appointment on their own, then invite loved ones to a subsequent visit once they have refined their ideas.
How far in advance should I start wedding dress shopping?
Imagine this: your dream gown, carefully crafted and waiting to be worn. Since most designer wedding gowns take 4 to 6 months to come in once ordered, we suggest booking that crucial first appointment roughly 12 to 18 months before you say “I do”.
