Ready to uncover the dress of your dreams? Wedding gown shopping at Bijoux kicks off with a 90-minute appointment that’s entirely yours from beginning to end! Your experienced bridal stylist begins by talking through the big day: where’s the venue, what’s the season, any gowns that have caught your eye online, plus the styles you’ve already dismissed. Then comes the fun bit! They’ll handpick gowns from across the boutique that fit your brief, and they’ll usually throw in a few wildcards you’d never have chosen yourself but that they think will look breathtaking on you.
Within a private fitting area, you and your companions, typically up to three with extra capacity available upon request, are invited to sample each piece, whilst our stylists remain on hand to assist with buttons and lacing, sharing insightful guidance on how assorted fabrics and silhouettes complement your figure.
At Fairfield, we don’t watch the clock, nor do we expect any decisions to be made during your visit. Some brides discover their ideal gown during that initial consultation, whilst others choose to return for a follow-up appointment to refine their choices.

What sizes do you stock?
Within our complete designer collection, we stock sample gowns spanning UK sizes 6 through 36. During your appointment, you’ll try on dresses in your true size, and once you’ve chosen the one, your selected gown is crafted made to order.
Can I bring guests to my bridal appointment?
You are invited to bring up to three people with you, and should you wish to bring more, simply let us know and we will do our utmost to fit you in. The majority of brides choose to bring their mum, a sister, or a couple of close friends, but the choice is entirely yours. Some brides like to attend the first appointment alone, then bring others along to a second appointment once they have whittled down their options.
How far in advance should I start wedding dress shopping?
Book your initial appointment 12 to 18 months before your wedding day. Most designer wedding gowns take four to six months to come in after being ordered. Working with a more limited timeline? Reach out anyway.
Our store holds a huge range of dresses, and a number of these can be collected on the same day. If you need your gown sooner rather than later, rush production is also on offer through a number of our designers.
Do you sell bridesmaid dresses?
Absolutely. We stock bridesmaid dresses from designers that complement our bridal collections, providing a variety of colours, lengths and fabrics.
