At Bijoux, the wedding dress journey is set across a exclusive 90-minute appointment that belongs entirely to you from start to finish. Your experienced bridal stylist starts the conversation by discussing the story of your wedding day, asking about the venue, the season, any gowns that have grabbed your attention online, and the styles you’ve already ruled out. Drawing on every detail you’ve mentioned, she then makes her way through the boutique, choosing gowns that echo your vision, and including a few unexpected choices she suspects will surprise you beautifully.
Inside the fitting area, you try on each gown together with your guests (generally up to three, although larger parties can be accommodated upon request), whilst our stylists remain on hand to assist with buttons and lacing, and to clarify how varying fabrics and silhouettes suit your figure.
No clock watching here, and absolutely no pressure to choose on the day. Some brides find their perfect wedding dress at the first appointment, while others come back for a second appointment to help narrow down their decision.

Do I need to book an appointment?
Absolutely. Each bride receives a private 90-minute session with her own personal stylist, and we carefully limit how many appointments run concurrently so the boutique remains calm and unhurried. To reserve your appointment, arrange one online or give us a ring on 01698 200 122.
What sizes do you stock?
Our sample gowns are on offer in UK sizes 6 to 36 across the full designer collection. During your appointment, you will sample dresses in your true size, and once you have selected your favourite, it will be made to order.
Can I bring guests to my bridal appointment?
You are more than welcome to bring up to four guests, and should you wish to include additional companions, please get in touch and we shall try to accommodate your request. The majority of brides choose to bring their mother, a sister, or a few close friends, though the choice remains entirely yours. Some brides choose to attend the initial appointment on their own, then invite loved ones to a later visit once they have refined their choices.
How far in advance should I start wedding dress shopping?
Schedule your very first appointment 12 to 18 months prior to your wedding day. The majority of designer wedding gowns take four to six months to come in after placing the order. Have a more limited timeline? Get in touch anyway.
Our shop stocks hundreds of dresses, and many of these can be brought home on the same day. If you need your gown in a hurry, express production is also offered through a number of our designers.
