Allure Romance Designer Spotlight
Allure Romance gowns are all about soft, feminine florals, delicate lace and airy layers of tulle that move with you down the aisle.
We’re delighted to carry a selection of Allure Romance wedding dresses at Bijoux, alongside Allure Couture and Abella from the same family.
This spotlight introduces the people behind the label and the beautiful details that give the collection its romantic character.
The Crum family and Allure Romance
The Crum family’s bridal business began in a Tennessee fabric store, which became a bridal salon before the family started making wedding gowns.
Today, Kelly Crum and his son James, known as Ridge, run Allure Bridals.
Allure Romance is one of its collections, alongside Allure Couture and Abella.
The company also has a flagship collection called Allure Bridals, so you’ll see that name used for both the business and a specific range of dresses.
The flagship collection moves between the grandeur of a traditional ballgown and the simplicity of a sleek sheath. Crisp folds, defined waists and sculpted necklines give many designs a bold outline, with both plain fabrics and richly worked lace in the range.
Romance has a softer, more whimsical character, with Chantilly lace, chiffon and tulle giving the gowns their delicate texture.
That sense of romance carries through the collection, from close-fitting dresses to full, floating skirts.
Soft florals, sheer details and subtle sparkle
Florals run through the whole collection.
Delicate floral appliqués (lace motifs stitched onto the gown) spread across bodices and skirts, often over tulle so the pattern seems to float.
Glitter tulle and light-catching beadwork create a subtle sparkle that shows as a soft glow whenever you turn.
Ruched bodices gather fabric into soft folds, while sheer elements such as lace sleeves and backs let floral motifs stand out against your skin.
Several styles also come with detachable straps or sleeves, so one gown can take you from the ceremony to the dance floor.
Fabrics, texture and movement of an Allure Romance wedding gown
Chantilly lace is a fine, open lace with a delicate pattern, and it appears throughout the collection, sometimes finished with a soft eyelash trim along the edge.
Tulle and chiffon give skirts their airy movement, so the fabric lifts and settles as you walk and a train follows behind in a gentle sweep.
Crepe, Mikado and satin bring a smoother texture. Mikado, a softly lustrous fabric with a little body, holds a ballgown skirt in shape, and satin catches the light along ruched bodices.
Our guide to wedding dress fabrics explains how each one feels and moves if you’d like to explore them further.
Silhouettes and necklines of the wedding dresses
The collection includes A-line gowns that skim out gently from the waist and sheath dresses that follow the body from neckline to hem.
Mermaid gowns, also known as fishtail, and fit-and-flare shapes flare out lower down, while ballgowns pair a fitted bodice with a full skirt.
You’ll find sweetheart, scoop, V-neck and cat-eye necklines across the collection.
A basque waist, which dips to a soft point at the front, shapes some of the gowns too.
Allure’s fall 2026 collection
Allure photographed its new Fall 2026 Romance collection in a vineyard garden.
The new designs include a Mikado ballgown with a sculpted basque waist and a crepe sheath with detachable lace sleeves.
We’re so excited to see which of these styles will be joining us in the boutique! Watch this space!
We already carry a selection of Allure Bridal and Allure Romance gowns, so ask our stylists which styles are in the boutique when you book.
A modern take on feminine romance
The collection pairs classic silhouettes with fresh details such as sheer sleeves and cat-eye necklines.
Boned lace bodices and ruching through the hips give some designs a more sculpted shape, while keeping the delicate detail of a romantic wedding gown.
Allure Romance beside Allure Couture and Abella
Bijoux carries a selection from three Allure collections, and each has its own personality.
Allure Romance is soft and floral, Allure Couture leans into luxury with richer beading and bolder shapes, and Abella brings an art-inspired, European feel.
With all three on our rails, you can try them one after another in the same appointment and see which one makes you light up as you step into the room.

Your Allure Romance appointment at Bijoux
We begin every 90-minute appointment with a chat about the gowns and details you’re drawn to.
From there, our stylists pull gowns that match what you’ve told us, and you can wander the boutique and choose a few gowns of your own.
Bring up to four of your favourite people, and we’ll have the prosecco ready. The fitting areas sit close together, so you’ll be surrounded by friends who are all there to hype you up while you find your dress.
Our sample rails cover a wide range of sizes, and clipping and pinning lets you see how a style will sit on you. Your chosen gown is then made to order, with alterations from our independent seamstress once it arrives.
