Wedding Dresses Old Town
Finding your wedding dress should be fun, stress-free, and focused on what you want, and that’s just what we deliver at Bijoux Bridal.
There’s no pressure here, only honest advice, warm support, and a team of experienced bridal Style Specialists who are here to help you land on the dress of your dreams. The thrill of that moment is what it’s all about, and you’ll feel it within a tailored bridal session you won’t get anywhere else.

Why Old Town Brides Choose Bijoux Bridal

Bijoux is Scotland’s number one wedding dress destination, and your bridal visit here is set up so it never is hurried. This is your personal day of shopping, and we want you to savour every moment of it.
Invite your most trusted people along and let your Style Specialist handle the rest. They’ll start by chatting about your wedding (the venue, the vibe, the things you’ve been looking at online) and then put together a edit of gowns based on what you’ve told them and what they believe might delight you.
Every stylist on our team knows the dresses in store back to front, so they’ll time and again pull something you might never have considered that winds up being the one.
There’s zero pressure to commit on the day, so take all the space you want. Some brides choose their dream dress in the first appointment, while others like to pop back for a second visit to get closer to a final decision, and both options are totally fine. Dress shopping should be something you recall with a smile as you step into the next chapter, and we’d far rather you head home feeling confident than feeling rushed.
Sizes 6 to 36 in our Wedding Dresses Glasgow Boutique
Sample gowns in UK sizes 6 to 36 hang on our rails ready for you to try on in your real size, no more bunching fabric behind your back and wondering what the finished look would be.
You’d be surprised how much that counts, because a dress that appears pretty ordinary on a hanger can look entirely different once it sits on you the right way.
Our Style Specialists have spent years with every body shape out there. They recognise how different fabrics, necklines, and silhouettes flatter different figures, and that knowledge shows from the second your fitting starts.
Whether you’re a size 8 or a size 32, the appointment experience is exactly the same: calm, special, and centred completely on supporting you discover the right dress that leaves you feeling wonderful.
Wedding Dress Styles for Every Old Town Bride
Not sure which silhouette works for you? That’s perfectly normal. Most brides revise their mind once they begin trying things on. The bridal world shifts quickly, and what you see on Instagram doesn’t always reflect what sits right in person.
Collect your inspiration online. Then visit and try it. Your Style Specialist will lead you through the options and support you discover your dream dress, but here’s a quick overview of what’s in store.
A-Line wedding dresses in Old Town
A-line wedding dresses are shaped through the bodice and flow out softly from the waist, and the result is gentle, even, and sits beautifully on virtually everyone. Not sure where to look first? This is often the one to try first because it’s relaxed, easy to wear, and adaptable depending on the fabric and neckline, whether that’s a plunging V-neck or a classic sweetheart.
Ballgown Dresses
Imagine layers of tulle or organza flowing beneath a structured bodice, creating a voluminous, dramatic skirt. That’s the ballgown, and brides who crave the whole room to hold its breath when they walk in tend to gravitate to this shape, because the volume of the skirt creates a striking silhouette for photos and that walk down the aisle.

Fit and Flare wedding dresses in Old Town
The fit-and-flare hugs the body through the waist and hips, then fans out around mid-thigh. It gives you curve definition without the snugness of a full mermaid, and when the reception begins, it works beautifully while still looking refined and tailored during the ceremony.
Mermaid wedding dresses in in Old Town
Mermaid dresses hold close from bodice to knee and then open up boldly. For brides who crave something head-turning and figure-skimming, this is the silhouette to try, and it looks stunning in crepe, satin, or heavily beaded lace.
Sheath wedding dresses in Old Town
A sheath wedding dress hugs your natural shape from shoulder to hem in a streamlined, simple line, and it’s really lovely in its simplicity! Brides who love the idea of something easy often end up here, whether that’s a clean column of crepe or a subtle lace overlay with a slight sweep train.

Wedding dress collections by style
Beyond silhouettes, we arrange gowns by the sense they create. Brides planning a easygoing outdoor wedding can discover our boho collection, which gathers fluid fabrics, off-the-shoulder sleeves, and freeform lace patterns that complement barn, garden, and countryside venues.
If texture and sparkle speak to you, explore the detailed collection, where you’ll come across gowns with hand-sewn beading, fine embroidery, and statement lace applique. On the other hand, if clean lines and understated elegance are what you’re looking for, our simple wedding dresses demonstrate that a beautifully cut gown in a stunning fabric requires nothing else.
Did you realise that sleeves can completely shift how a dress comes across on you? We’ve been adding to a wonderful range of wedding dresses with sleeves, from sheer illusion long sleeves to structured puff sleeves and soft cap sleeves, and honestly, trying them on in person is the only real way to see what looks amazing for you.
Designer bridal gowns you can try on
Every designer we have in is here because their gowns drape really well on all types of body shapes and sizes. You honestly won’t see these labels together in any other shop in Scotland, and after more than 15 years in designer bridal, we’ve worked out which ones live up to their promise of quality, fit, and that unforgettable feeling when a bride steps into one.
Our collection offers Essense of Australia (we’re the exclusive stockist in this part of Scotland, known for opulent couture silhouettes, French lace, silk chiffon, and fine appliques), Stella York (designs that look considerably more expensive than they are, from minimalist crepe through to dramatic ballgowns), Maggie Sottero (love-filled detailing, soft tulles, and figure-flattering cuts across every silhouette, plus the bolder Sottero and Midgley line), and Justin Alexander (traditional bridal elegance with current details like square necklines, sweetheart bodices, and clean satin finishes).
We also stock Morilee (striking embellishments and inclusive sizing), Allure Romance (love-filled lace and soft, feminine lines), Ronald Joyce (structured glamour with a British sensibility), and Six Stories, which we were the first bridal boutique in Scotland to introduce. Every designer adds something different. Your Style Specialist will pull the best labels for you. We put on trunk shows throughout the year, offering advance access to new collections before they reach other boutiques in Scotland.

What Old Town Brides Say About Bijoux Bridal
Our 1,300+ five-star Google reviews tell the story, but the feedback we get most often is that brides didn’t think they’d discover their dream dress so quickly, or that the appointment felt more like a celebration with their closest people than a sales pitch.
A bride wanting a classic sheath and a bride set on a show-stopping ballgown each get the very same one-to-one attention the second they come through our door.
We are all about guiding brides find the ideal gown that shows off who they really are, and sometimes that means pulling a handpicked range of stunning gowns they’d never have tried, or sometimes it’s just providing them the space to fall in love with the very first dress they slip into. Every bride is entitled to that “I’ve found my dream dress” moment, and we want every bride to pick a dress she feels incredible in. That’s what drives everything we do.
We took home Best Bridalwear Retailer in Scotland at the 2025 Bridal Buyer Awards, and that recognition has been developed over fifteen years of treating every single appointment as though it’s the only one that day.
