Wedding Dresses Jedburgh
At Bijoux Bridal, we know that finding your wedding dress should feel thrilling, relaxed, and totally about you.
Our bridal Style Specialists really know what they’re doing, and they’re here to support you discover the dress of your dreams with straight-up advice, kind support, and no pressure. It’s all about the joy of finding the dress that feels right for you, and a custom bridal day you just won’t see anywhere else.

Why Brides from Jedburgh Pick Bijoux Bridal

Bijoux is Scotland’s number one wedding dress experience. Your bridal visit here should never seem rushed. This is your personal day of shopping, and we need you to enjoy every moment of it.
Invite your most trusted people along and let your Style Specialist do the rest. They’ll begin by asking about your wedding (the venue, the atmosphere, the things you’ve been eyeing up online) and then select a range of gowns based on what you’ve told them and what they believe might delight you.
Every stylist on the team understands the dresses in store inside out, and that knowledge means they’ll regularly pull something you never would have considered, and more often than not it ends up being the one.
There’s no pressure to make a decision on the day. Some brides choose their dream dress in the first appointment, others pop back for a second look to make a final choice, and both are totally fine. Dress shopping should be something you look back on happily as you begin the next chapter, and we’d always prefer you walk away feeling confident than walk away feeling pressured.
Sizes 6 to 36 in our Wedding Dresses Glasgow Boutique
You’ll see sample gowns in UK sizes 6 through 36 at Bijoux Bridal, which allows you can try on a dress in your actual size rather than gathering fabric behind your back and imagining what it might look like.
That produces more of a change than many understand, because a dress that seems plain on a hanger can become completely different once it sits on you properly.
Every body shape is known to our Style Specialists. They recognise how different fabrics, necklines, and silhouettes suit different figures.
A size 8 bride and a size 32 bride walk into Bijoux Bridal and get precisely the same thing: leisurely, special, and devoted fully on supporting you find the perfect dress that leaves you feel absolutely wonderful.
Wedding Dress Styles and Bridal Fashion for Every Jedburgh Bride
Not sure which silhouette works for you? That’s entirely normal, and here’s a thing most brides realise: they change their mind once they get going with trying things on. The bridal industry shifts quickly, and what catches your eye on Instagram doesn’t always match what looks right in person.
Spotted a few styles you adore online? Stop by and try it! Your Style Specialist will guide you through the possibilities and support you find your dream dress, but here’s a brief overview of what you’ll find in store.
A-Line wedding dresses in Jedburgh
Imagine a dress that’s fitted through the bodice and then falls out gently from the waist, creating a relaxed, balanced shape that falls beautifully on nearly everyone. That’s the A-line, and if you’re not sure where to begin, it’s often a perfect first try because the silhouette is forgiving, wearable, and versatile depending on the fabric and neckline, whether that’s a plunging V-neck or a classic sweetheart.
Ballgown Dresses
A ballgown delivers you that sweeping, sweeping skirt with layers of tulle or organza beneath a structured bodice. Brides who want to feel like the entire room freezes when they walk in often love this shape, and the volume of the skirt produces a striking silhouette for photos and that walk down the aisle.

Fit and Flare wedding dresses in Jedburgh
Fit-and-flare gowns hug the body through the waist and hips before flaring out around mid-thigh, and they’re amazing for curve definition without the snugness of a full mermaid. Plus this silhouette moves fantastically on the dance floor while still looking refined and put-together during the ceremony.
Mermaid
From bodice to knee, a mermaid dress hugs the body close, and then it opens up powerfully. It’s the silhouette for brides who want something daring and figure-skimming, and whether it’s crafted in crepe, satin, or heavily beaded lace, the result is breathtaking.
Sheath wedding dresses in Jedburgh
Sometimes the simplest dress communicates the most. A sheath wedding dress mirrors your natural shape from shoulder to hem in a streamlined, understated line. Brides who adore the idea of something effortless often find themselves here, whether that’s a pure column of crepe or a subtle lace overlay with a gentle sweep train.

Wedding dress collection styles
Some brides sense the vibe they are after before they decide on the silhouette, and that’s precisely how we’ve structured things. Our boho collection weaves together flowing fabrics, off-the-shoulder sleeves, and freeform lace patterns, all chosen to suit barn, garden, and countryside venues.
Texture and sparkle lovers can explore the detailed collection, including hand-sewn beading, delicate embroidery, and statement lace applique. Prefer clean lines? Our simple wedding dresses demonstrate a beautifully cut gown in a striking fabric needs nothing else.
Did you realise that sleeves can totally transform how a dress appears on you? We’ve been adding to a fantastic edit of wedding dresses with sleeves, from sheer illusion long sleeves to structured puff sleeves and dainty cap sleeves, and truly, trying them on in person is the only real way to see what looks amazing for you.
Designer wedding dresses and bridal gowns
Every designer in our edit has been selected because their wedding gowns drape wonderfully across a full range of sizes and body shapes. You won’t see these collections together anywhere else in Scotland, and with over 15 years of expertise in designer bridal, we can honestly confirm which labels excel in quality, fit, and the way a bride lights up when she tries one on.
We hold Essense of Australia (exclusive stockist in this part of Scotland, celebrated for opulent couture silhouettes, French lace, silk chiffon, and delicate appliques), Stella York (dresses that feel much more expensive than their price, from minimalist crepe to dramatic ballgowns), Maggie Sottero (romantic detailing, soft tulles, and figure-flattering cuts across every silhouette, plus the bolder Sottero and Midgley line), and Justin Alexander (traditional bridal elegance with current details including square necklines, sweetheart bodices, and clean satin finishes).
Beyond those names, our collection also include Morilee (detailed embellishments and inclusive sizing), Allure Romance (soft lace and soft, feminine lines), Ronald Joyce (structured glamour with a British sensibility), and Six Stories, a label we were the first bridal boutique in Scotland to carry. Every designer tells a different element, and your Style Specialist will recognise instinctively which labels to select based on what you’re after. We hold trunk shows throughout the year as well, offering you priority access to new collections before they go on sale elsewhere in Scotland.

How far in advance should I book a wedding dress appointment?
Ideally, kick off your dress search around 12 months before your wedding day, but don’t worry if you’ve got less time. Yes. Bring your guests with you. We want this to be a special experience with the people who matter most to you.
How long does a bridal appointment take?
You’ll have plenty of time to try on several dresses, go over options with your Style Specialist, and enjoy the experience. No rush. Want more time? We’ll book a follow-up visit.
Do you sell bridesmaid dresses too?
Yes, we do. We have a collection of designer gowns for bridesmaids alongside our bridal collections, meaning you can sort your whole bridal party in one visit and view how everything comes together in person.
