Is It Too Late to Order My Wedding Dress? Your Buying Timeline
Not at all! How long it will take to buy your wedding dress depends on which collection you shop from, and at Bijoux Bridal, there are three to choose from.
Whether you have months to savour every step of the search, or your big day is just around the corner, you can find the right dress you always dreamed of.
With a collection for every timeline, Bijoux is the place to begin.

Three Months Is More Than Enough Time
The idea that a beautiful, brand-new designer gown requires a year of planning is a bridal myth worth setting aside with our Quick Delivery collection.
With a lead time of approximately 12 weeks, ordering a dress made exclusively for you is still very much possible.
You visit the boutique, spend time with our stylists, and choose your custom gown in person.
Once your order is placed, the dress goes into production, and approximately 12 weeks later you return to the boutique for a dedicated reveal fitting.
In the months to come, the dress is being made to your measurements, in the fabric and style you chose, arriving as something created for no one else. The anticipation and the happy tear when you first see it finished are every bit a part of this journey.
Some customisation options are more limited on this timeline than in Made to Order. But the designer quality, fabric, and construction are exactly the same.
Your Dress Could Be Waiting for You Right Now
If the idea of leaving with your dress today sounds like exactly what you need, Ready-to-Wear was made for you.
Every gown in the collection is available to be purchased and taken home in the very same day, with no order, no production window, and no counting weeks.
The collection draws from some of the same designers as our Made to Order range, with ex-sample gowns sitting alongside brand-new styles, priced between £499 and £999.
From ballgowns, mermaid shapes, fit-and-flare silhouettes, and relaxed flowing designs are all represented, each one available to try on before it comes home with you.
Each gown is a single piece, and once it leaves the boutique it is not typically restocked.
The collection turns over with every appointment, which means every visit brings new possibilities.
Sign up for the dedicated lookbook to preview what is currently on the rack before you come in.
Many brides arrive with a clear preference and find that trying gowns in person opens up styles they had never considered, and that the one they fall in love with surprises them completely.
When Should You Start Wedding Dress Shopping?
Nine to twelve months before your wedding is the traditional wedding dress shopping timeline, and for Made to Order brides it is a lovely amount of time to have.
But wedding planning rarely follows a set schedule, and plenty of brides arrive at their dress search at a different time than they expected.
Getting married and getting your perfect dress is not a problem at Bijoux.
Wherever you are in your wedding dress planning, the most useful thing you can do right now is book a bridal appointment to start shopping and trying on dresses.
Use the time beforehand to gather inspo from social media, browse current trends, think about your personal style, and consider the necklines and sleeves that catch your eye. Then bring all of that in with you. Our stylists will take it from there.
One thing worth knowing: designers do occasionally discontinue styles, so if you find a gown you love during your wedding dress search, acting sooner rather than later is always wise.
Veils, wedding accessories, any alterations, and everything else that completes the look can follow once your dress is chosen.
Your dress is the starting point.
