Bijoux was founded by Lynsay in 2009 with a straightforward idea: build a bridal shop in Glasgow where every bride feels celebrated and never pressured. You try everything on in a fitting area with your guests (bring up to three; we can accommodate more on request), and the fizz is cold before you’ve taken your coat off. Alterations to personalise your gown
Once you’ve said yes, our independent seamstress steps in. Because she works closely with the boutique, your seamstress already knows the dress, the designer’s construction, and how the gown is supposed to sit. They handle everything from hemming and bustle work to more involved custom bridal work like adding sleeves, adjusting a neckline, reshaping a bodice, or adding lace detailing to personalise a design.

Bijoux Bridal is on Castle Street in Hamilton, around 20 minutes from the heart of Glasgow city centre by car. Take the M74 south and follow signs for Hamilton. If you’d rather take the train, Hamilton West station is a short walk from the boutique, with direct services from Glasgow Central running every 15 to 20 minutes.

How do I book an appointment?

What sizes do you carry?
We stock sample gowns in UK sizes 6 to 36 across our full designer range. You’ll try on dresses in your actual size during your appointment, and your chosen gown is then made to order, then fitted by our independent seamstress.
Can I bring guests?
Yes, up to three, and we’re happy to accommodate more if you get in touch in advance. Most brides bring their mum, a sister, or a couple of close friends. Some prefer to come alone for a first visit and bring people along for a second appointment once they’ve narrowed things down.
